How do you find out who a phone or cell phone number belongs to?
You got a phone call from someone — but you don't recognize the number? Spokeo's phone number lookup service can help find out whose phone number it is.Just enter the phone number to search Spokeo's enormous telephone directory. Successful searches show the owner's name, location, time zone, email address and other public profile datainformation.Unlike traditional white pages, where you look up someone by their name to get their phone number, this works the other way around. When using a reverse phone number lookup tool, you give a tel. number and find out who calls from that number. It's something like a universal Caller-ID lookup.Spokeo is an easy to use tool for making a reverse phone lookup when you find a lost cell phone. It also allows you to spot telemarketers.
What does an expression involving multiple post/pre decrement/increment operators evaluate to in C and C++?
The answer is 31. (You can verify it by running the code)There are 5 expressions to be evaluated : i++, ++i, i, i--, --i. I'll evaluate these 5 expressions from left to right, step by step, and you'll understand.Initially i = 5.1. The first expression is i++. When you run your code with just the following statement : printf("%d", i++), it first outputs 5 and then increments i to 6. i++ is post increment, i.e. it will first use the previous value of i to evaluate the required expression, and then increment i by 1 for using i the next time. In layman's terms, you can say that i++ is replaced by i and then then i is incremented. So we have 5 in place of i++, and the final value of i is 6.2. Now comes ++i. From the previous expression, i.e i++, we know that the final value of i is 6. Now ++i, in some sense, does the reverse of what i++ does. ++i is pre increment, i.e, it first increments the value of i by 1 and then evaluates the expression. So first i becomes 7(previous value of i(=6) +1), and we have 7 in place of ++i.3. Here we have a plain and simple i. No incrementing. So we simply put 7 in place of i.4. Next we have i-- . This is post decrement, similar to post increment(i++). i-- is first replaced by the previous value of i(which is 7) and then i is decremented by 1. So we have 7 in place of i-- and then i becomes 6.5. Lastly, we have --i. This is pre decrement, similar to pre increment(++i). i is first decremented by 1, which means that i now becomes 5 (previous value of i(=6)-1)) which is the final value of i. So we have 5 in place of --i.So adding up all the results of the 5 expressions, we have 5 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 5 =31 :)Edit : Thanks to Pratik Agarwal for mentioning that the answer varies from compiler to compiler. My answer is gcc specific. Do read his comment below.
I’m shipping my product to Canada. How do I fill out a NAFTA Certificate of Origin? Are there other documents to be filled out?
Your shipment may need a NAFTA Certificate of Origin and a Shipper’s Export Declaration. To learn more about export documentation, please visit Export.gov to learn more. The U.S. Commercial Service’s Trade Information Center or the trade specialists at your local Export Assistance Center can also help answer these questions. Call 1-800-USA-TRAD(E) or find your local Export Assistance Center.International Trade Law includes the appropriate rules and customs for handling trade between countries. However, it is also used in legal writings as trade between private sectors, which is not right. This branch of law is now an independent field of study as most governments has become part of the world trade, as members of the World Trade Organization (WTO).Since the transaction between private sectors of different countries is an important part of the WTO activities, this latter branch of law is now a very important part of the academic works and is under study in many universities across the world.
Do I have to fill out the census forms?
Yes, you do. Census helps the government/private companies know the number and the types of people in your town/state/country. When you provide information, you get better service. If you're worried about your personal information getting leaked, don't be. A census usually only requires your name and the no. of people in your house (depends on the scale of the census)You got to nothing to lose anyway. Just give the information. It'll take less than 5 minutes.
How does one get invited to the Quora Partner Program? What criteria do they use, or is it completely random?
I live in Germany. I got an invite to the Quora partner program the day I landed in USA for a business trip. So from what I understand, irrespective of the number of views on your answers, there is some additional eligibility criteria for you to even get an email invite. If you read the terms of service, point 1 states:Eligibility. You must be located in the United States to participate in this Program. If you are a Quora employee, you are eligible to participate and earn up to a maximum of $200 USD a month. You also agree to be bound by the Platform Terms (https://www.quora.com/about/tos) as a condition of participation.Again, if you check the FAQ section:How can other people I know .participate? The program is invite-only at this time, but we intend to open it up to more people as time goes on.So my guess is that Quora is currently targeting people based out of USA, who are active on Quora, may or may not be answering questions frequently ( I have not answered questions frequently in the past year or so) and have a certain number of consistent answer views.Edit 1: Thanks to @Anita Scotch, I got to know that the Quora partner program is now available for other countries too. Copying Anuta’s comment here:If you reside in one of the Countries, The Quora Partner Program is active in, you are eligible to participate in the program.” ( I read more will be added, at some point, but here are the countries, currently eligible at this writing,) U.S., Japan, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Australia.11/14/2018Edit 2 : Here is the latest list of countries with 3 new additions eligible for the Quora Partner program:U.S., Japan, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, India and Brazil. Thanks to Monoswita Rez for informing me about this update.
